Part II of the Emergency Preparedness series - "No Water - No Life" - will be presented by Central Coast Tea Party Minutemen on Thursday, February 7, 2013, in the Community Room of the Marina Public Library located at 190 Seaside Circle in Marina. Check in starts at 5:45 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6:15 p.m. Optional: Bring an appetizer or finger food to share.
Among the topics presented will be the collection and storage of water in preparation for an emergency as well as various ways of purifying water; what type of equipment and/or tools are essential to survival. Also covered in the Disaster Preparedness series will be a listing of recommended foods and the proper storing of food at home. What food items should you pack in your Bug Out Bag? Are you prepared to grow your own essential vegetables if necessary?
During this all- important Disaster Preparedness series...you will also learn how to put together an effective BHB (Bug Home Bag), BOB (Bug Out Bag), Vehicle BOB, a BOB for your children and pets; also covered will be those documents that should be included.
These presentations are open to the public...in fact..you are encouraged to invite your neighbors, family members, and friends to attend.
