So what exactly is "regionalism"?   Check out this article written by Michael Shaw

"Regionalism - The Blueprint for Your Serfdom" by Michael Shaw

Did you know that some of your local elected representatives are enabling a shadow government to evolve? These people promote the reinvention of government through their support of, and appointments to, “regional” boards that act like soviet councils. These councils are funded to implement Agenda 21. Federal tax dollars fuel their appeal, but your city and county representatives do not have to go along. Gone are the days when government was limited, where individuals were politically acknowledged to possess unalienable rights, and where money was honest. The American political structure has been transformed. This has occurred quietly for more than 50 years without public awareness of the mechanisms underlying the change.

At the core of this transformation is the political process of “regionalizing” the country. Political regionalism is the antithesis of representative government. Regionalism restructures or reinvents the operation of American government by destroying traditional political boundaries, such as county lines, and ushers in a transformed system of governance that ultimately abolishes private property and the rights of the individual.  Regionalism has infiltrated cities and counties everywhere, affecting transportation, water, farming and land use systems… literally every aspect of your life.

Our local governments are using the rationale of  "sustainable development"...."social justice"...to chip away at our personal liberties...and ...to take away our personal property rights! ....So..What is "sustainable development" anyway???? UNITED NATIONS AGENDA 21.........AGENDA 21.......AGENDA 21....AGENDA 21

Answers can be found in the United Nations Agenda for the 21st Century...i.e. Agenda 21.  If you are not familiar with Agenda 21....now's the time to find out more....At the next general meeting of the Tea Party Patriots of Monterey County we will be addressing Agenda 21 and its impact on our communities through "sustainable development" and ICLEI.....

Special Showing of "Fracknation: A Journalist's Search for Fracking Truth" on Feb. 27th at 7:00

TPPofMC will be showing the newly released feature documentary "Fracknation: A Journalist's Search for the Fracking Truth" on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Marina Public Library located at 190 Seaside Circle in Marina (behind WalMart).
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the movie starting at 7:00 p.m.
Open to the public.  Free (donations appreciated)

In FrackNation journalist Phelim McAleer faces threats, cops and bogus lawsuits questioning green extremists for the truth about fracking. McAleer uncovers fracking facts suppressed by environmental activists, and he talks with rural Americans whose livelihoods are at risk if fracking is banned. Emotions run high but the truth runs deep.
FrackNation was made after Phelim McAleer confronted GASLANDfilmmaker Josh Fox at a Q&A in Chicago. McAleer asked Fox about instances of water being lit on fire well before fracking occurred in America and why he didn’t include that information in GASLAND. Fox said the information “wasn’t relevant.” McAleer disagreed and put their exchange on YouTube. Fox sued to have it removed. That’s when McAleer realized there was more to the story of fracking than Josh Fox was letting on.
FrackNation was funded by 3,305 backers on Kickstarter who generously donated $212,265 to have us investigate the truth about fracking. All funds from oil and gas companies or their executives were explicitly rejected. FrackNation is a film by the people, for the people.

The NY Times says the following about "Fracknation":
If your only exposure to hydraulic fracturing, or fracking — the process of extracting natural gas from shale — has been Josh Fox’s alarming documentary, “Gasland,” then “FrackNation” would like your attention. Claiming that Mr. Fox’s chilling conclusions are misleading at best, Phelim McAleer and his fellow directors, Ann McElhinney and Magdalena Segieda, attempt to prove that shale gas just might be “the miracle of the 21st century.” -- Jeannette Catsoulis
